The ecomuseum is organising an interesting event on the occasion of the Feast of St John: a guided tour dedicated to the two churches of San Domenico and San Giovanni Battista and the figure of St John.
Through their spaces, we will unveil the most fascinating anecdotes of our community: the events of the ancient confraternities, the genius of Ferrara architects, the profiles of illustrious citizens, and the roots of our Archaeological Museum.

Let us take you on a fascinating journey through spirituality and culture in the Church of San Giovanni. This guided tour is the perfect opportunity to discover the figure of the Saint, his works and his message. In the company of an expert guide, we will admire the architecture, artistic treasures and anecdotes of the church, with a focus on the life of St John (Baptist or Evangelist) narrated through sacred texts, iconography and popular devotions. A not-to-be-missed experience for believers and lovers of the history, art and culture of the area.
The event will conclude with a refined convivial moment, where authentic flavours meet herbalist tradition.
